Bio
Julie Levine supports grantmaking across portfolios that include the environment, community development, housing, human services, arts, culture, and historic preservation.
Julie is pursuing her Master of Public Health at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health within the Department of Population and Family Health, with a concentration in health policy. She holds a B.A. in communication design with a minor in wellness and health education from Elon University.
Prior to graduate school, Julie was a senior manager at Real Chemistry, a global health communications agency. There, she led the development of digital content for patients, providers, and caregivers, particularly in the areas of mental health and rare diseases, for three Fortune 500 healthcare clients. Most recently, she interned with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where she designed and evaluated trainings for community health workers advancing health equity.
Outside of work, Julie is passionate about wellness, design, and creative storytelling at the intersection of public health and communication.
