“My wife and I immigrated to the U.S. as teenagers. We were born and raised on opposite sides of the world yet lived similar lives under communism, with equally limited means and humble family backgrounds. Given these early experiences, we are very grateful for the opportunities that this country has provided us. In return, we would like to share our blessings by helping others.
One of our strongest passions is music and its power to bring comfort and hope in one of the quickest and profound ways. We are very involved with a nonprofit called Project: Music Heals Us, which brings live music performances and interactive programming to people who are older, disabled, rehabilitating, incarcerated, or experiencing homelessness.
The Trust’s staff can be very helpful with your planned giving process. It can provide information about organizations that help your causes, whether it is alleviating hunger, protecting the environment, aiding migrants, or providing healthcare. More importantly, the staff members can also connect like-minded donors by pooling resources to make your giving more impactful.”
