For the Environment. Forever. Towards Resilience: Climate Change & Coastal Communities

View Photos from the Event

With every major storm, heat wave, and air quality alert, the effects of climate change become more apparent in our daily lives.

Most coastal communities, and the ecosystems they depend upon, are already coping with the negative impacts of human-driven climate change, including rising seas, more powerful storms, and more frequent and intense precipitation. Dealing with a hotter, wetter world will require new thinking and innovative solutions at every level of governance, from the hyperlocal to the global.

Join us for a conversation with nonprofit, environmental, and community leaders about how we can help protect New York’s coastal communities and ecosystems and support promising new efforts throughout our region.

A festive reception will follow, with food, drinks, and the opportunity to share your vision for our region’s next century.
