Bio

Nupur Chaudhury Goldson manages projects and grants in Westchester to support community-led advocacy for systemic policy change, encourage affordable housing and workforce development, and preserve and restore the environment.

With more than 20 years of nonprofit, government, and philanthropy experience, Nupur works to support residents, communities, and neighborhoods building just and equitable spaces. Prior to joining the Trust, she led coalition building efforts after Superstorm Sandy, redeveloped power structures in villages in India, and developed a citizens' planning institute for public housing residents in Brownsville, Brooklyn. She was also the founding director of Neighborhood Health at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Nupur is an adjunct professor at NYU Wagner School of Public Service and core faculty at Dark Matter U, a national design justice collective. She holds an M.B.A. from Brown University and IE University in Madrid, Spain, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, a Master of Urban Planning from New York University, and a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.
