Program goal

Ensure the health and welfare of New York City’s wild and migratory animals and those in captivity and communities.

 

Grants are made to

  • Support the conservation, protection, rescue, and rehabilitation of New York City’s native and migratory wildlife.
  • Provide resources such as affordable veterinary care, access to spay and neutering services, and free food to under-resourced communities.
  • Support the capacity of local animal welfare nonprofits.
