To support neighbors during this challenging time, give today to the following nonprofits feeding New Yorkers in need.

  • Since 1982, City Harvest has rescued and delivered more than 1.3 billion pounds of high-quality food that would otherwise go to waste. This year, it will redirect over 86 million pounds of nutritious food, free of charge, to more than 400 food pantries and soup kitchens across New York City. City Harvest reaches thousands of New Yorkers through nutrition education, and this year will provide capacity-building grants to 80 of our food pantry partners—all as part of our work to feed our neighbors.  Give to City Harvest.
  • Food Bank for NYC is the city’s largest hunger relief organization and delivers food and resources across all five boroughs in collaboration with 800 community partners. In addition to food distribution, it runs food rescue, financial empowerment, nutritional education, and disaster relief programs. Over the past 40 years, it has distributed 1.6 billion pounds of food and helped New Yorkers secure $50 million in SNAP benefits.  Give to the Food Bank of NYC.
  • The Roundtable: Allies for Food Access is a network of nine of the largest food pantries and soup kitchens in NYC. It reduces costs through strategic purchasing, advocates for frontline food providers, and provides support to smaller pantry partners. In 2024, the Roundtable’s members served 64 million meals, distributed food at more than 940 sites across the five boroughs, and saved more than $500,000 through bulk purchasing.  Give to The Roundtable.
  • United Way NYC’s Emergency Assistance & Community Needs Fund supports critical services that empower community-based organizations with resources while keeping the city afloat. It provides funding to programs that support low-income New Yorkers, pregnant mothers, older adults, individuals with disabilities, and New Yorkers eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, and WIC assistance.  Give to United Way NYC.
  • Long Island  |  Island Harvest is a food bank that works with 400 community partners to end hunger and reduce food waste across Long Island. Engaging 20,000 volunteers in 2024-2025, it distributed 21.2 million pounds of food, harvested 18,000 pounds of fresh produce, and delivered more than 57,000 Senior Food Boxes. Give to Island Harvest
  • Westchester  |  Feeding Westchester delivers nutritious food to communities in need across Westchester County through its 75 partners and programs, including a mobile food pantry and senior grocery services. In addition to helping hungry neighbors, it advocates for equity and social justice, engages volunteers, and helps people find stable financial footing. Give to Feeding Westchester.
